With two games of the season to go and the team in a strong position in the league this wasn't the game we wanted to be over confident and slip up on. We knew it would be a different team to the one we beat 12-0 earlier in the season and we were right.

To start with the keeper was much better than before which helped to keep the score down. Two goals in each half (including 2 classic Elvo short corners, another goal from top scorer Nick and a belter from Simon from the top of the D) meant that the game was won comfortably.

Another clean sheet in the bag meant we eagerly awaited the Braintree result to see if we could be crowned champions with a game to go. A long afternoon of refreshing later and a narrow 2-1 win meant that the wait would go to the final week.
