9 Races, 73 Horses & 1 Amazing Host…
We’re only 2 weeks away from the ever anticipated OSHC Race Night returning and we aim for it to be even bigger and better than before!
We hope to see as many join us at Warner's Bridge for an evening of racing and fun with this special OSHC CENTENARY EVENT hosted by none other than the amazing Dick Clarke!
Like previous years, you can enjoy the evening in several ways, but here are three options:
1. Pick the horse with the funniest name in each race and have a cheeky flutter with your cash bets!
2. Own and name a horse for a chance to stand in the Winner's Enclosure (£10 per horse)
3. Enjoy a couple of drinks while watching Jacket gamble away a QuickQuid loan by race 6
*How you can buy*
All tickets are available via Pitchero ahead of the evening with the following options available.
Standard ticket: £5 and includes a free stake on the first race!
Combined ticket: £15 includes entry and a Horse you name to give you chance to scoop £50 for a win!
Single Horse: £10 name your horse and scoop £50 for a win (tickets for entry will still need to be purchased if you select this option)
Please note, horses need to be purchased before Friday 22nd November so Race Cards can be printed for the night.
*Info for the Evening!*
1. Cash is king! PLEASE BRING CASH FOR BETS ON THE NIGHT!!
2. Horses can be bought via Pitchero for the first 8 races! This year, horses will be drawn randomly — so we just need £10 and a name and we'll handle the admin.
3. Most importantly, though, you can name the horse as you please*.
Here's some OSHC-inspired Grand National winners to get the creative juices flowing:
1. Don't Push It (Hit It!)
2. Jonty's Pass
3. Liam Has Lost His Mane
*Dick has assured us that he will read EVERY name before each race.
The final race of the evening will be the (Old) Gold Cup. Each of the 8 runners and riders will be sold at auction on the night! The winning owner will receive a cash prize (size dependent on amount raised at auction) and a special mystery prize! [Insert gameshow crowd "ooooh" here] Doors open at 6pm and the first runners will be under starters orders at 6:30pm.
Once you’ve paid for your ticket and a horse either Connor, Connor, Jacket, Kidge, James W, Ben C. Théo C or John H will be in touch to confirm the name of your horse.
